This charming self catering cottage sits in an enviable unique location with views down to Loch Awe and with a backdrop of Ben Cruachan. Barbreck Cottage is situated in the small village of Kilchrenan, which has a local pub within walking distance and fishing on Loch Awe on your doorstep.

Kilchrenan itself is in an ideal location for exploring the whole of this magnificent and unspoiled part of Scotland. Suited for those who wish to relax and unwind and also those who enjoy outdoor pursuits - Hill Walkers will be delighted to discover the tracks and hills surrounding Kilchrenan including one of our Munros, Ben Cruachan.
The area is also renowned for it's brown trout & pike fishing on the many lochs in the area.These photos of Loch Awe are taken from the shore just down from the cottages where you can fish all year round, either for brown trout in the season from March to October, or Pike fishing at any time.
Nice secluded spot - Exclusion zone for permit holders.Or if fishing is not your aim, enjoy a lovely walk from the cottage, follow the river down to the loch. Great for dog walks!
