In a quiet rural location Fasgadh is ideal as a stopover on your way
to or from the Isle of Mull or for a holiday itself in some of Scotland's
most spectacular countryside.
Once you have visited this haven of tranquillity you will want to return.
Fasgadh has splendid views across the Sound of Mull and the area is
quiet and peaceful yet bustling with natures own activity. If you intend
to stay for a few days or longer there is plenty to see and do in the
area but most popular are the countryside activities ie Mountain biking, walking, cycling
and fishing with lots of interesting wildlife to be seen.
A recent addition to the area, which has proven extremely popular, is
the pedestrian ferry to Tobermory (Balamory)
on Mull that departs every Monday and Friday from the slipway at Drimnin.
This is a fun and cheap way to escape to Mull and spend a day round
the shops and bars and restaurants of this picturesque town.
Also a car ferry runs every day at regular times to Mull from Lochaline
(12 miles from Drimnin)
You will find lots to do in this beautiful and scenic countryside.
So Haste ye back...
