The country retreat of Bluebell cottage Sedbergh is a small secluded cottage for two hidden down a peaceful country lane. Below the retreat is the fast flowing beautiful river Lune, with ancient woodlands to explore in a lovely quiet valley of old Westmorland. The cottage is furnished with the style of a country retreat in mind, the log stove becomes the centre of attraction on cold nights. |

My name is Andy Strangeway. I was born in 1965, in a small Yorkshire Wold’s village.
In September 2003, I started my attempt to sleep on all of the 162 Scottish islands, which are 40 hectares or above. No one had ever landed on all of these islands before.
This would become the greatest adventure our country had to offer. Over half of these islands I would sleep on alone.
